A few great releases this weekend! 

First- Munchi!

Today he released a preview of Rotterdam, (part of the Tropical Gabba EP, not released yet…). Of course the tracks great, really raw and keeps escalating until the end of the preview. I’m really looking forward to the full release of the track because one minute isn’t enough.

Next- Skream (Ft. Sam Frank)

Also released today, Skream has released his new EP Anticipate on OWLSA (which has really been impressing me as a whole so far) and is now available for preview and purchase on beatport. The EP features Anticipate- the original mix, as well as Cassius and Netsky remixes. My personal favorite is the Netsky remix, but listen to them all anyway!

Last- Swedish House Mafia vs Knife Party

The Annie Mac show dropped the new song by Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party, Antidote. I like this, and I think its a nice collaboration. It is in the comfort zone of both artists, but does strays towards house. If you’re a big house fan, definitely check this one out.

Also Moombah-what? This song (as well as IDGAFOS) is classified as Nu Jump Up not moombahton. I guess that makes sense since this songs not really moombahton. But wtf is Nu Jump up? Did he just make that up?!

So in the past two weeks I was lucky enough to catch Skrillex, Porter Robinson, and Nero sets.

What did they all have in common? Each of them dropped Knife Party remixes. 

Knife Party- the duo of Rob Swire (the vocals on Ghosts and Stuff) and Gareth McGrillen. They are also two (out of three) members of Pendulum, the drum and bass group. 

I saw Pendulum of the summer, which was a great show, but I am so excited to hear more of Knife Party. All of the remixes on their sound cloud are killer, and are being dropped by huge artists. Their “Nero-Crush On You” remix is now number one on beatport dnb charts.
